Visit SARA in Thailand
Thailand is now the proud owner of a spectroscopic monitoring network. In September 2018, SARA set up shop to detect synthetic radionuclides at three separate locations, thereby protecting the country's population in future.
Thailand's authority for nuclear research, the Office of Atoms for Peace (OAP) is very satisfied as the nationwide monitoring network was installed and commissioned within a very short time. The three SARA stations are situated in Rayong, Ubon Ratchathani and Sangkhla Buri, where they measure the gamma radiation and transmit the results to the network software NMC at the OAP headquarters in Bangkok. SARA's spectroscopic capabilities enable the monitoring network to differentiate reliably between natural and synthetic radionuclides. It is thus optimally suited to detect even the smallest traces.
ENVINET is known for its customer service: the NMC network software was installed on site by our team. Moreover, the staff of OAP were given a 2-day training course to familiarize them with the finer points of the monitoring network.
