Ergonomics meets efficiency and reliability
ENVINET's successful software solution NMC is now in the third generation
ENVINET products combine efficiency and safety in their operation and handling. Our NMC software quite literally plays a central role in this regard: the monitoring center focuses mainly on evaluating and administering the radiation detection systems. Moreover, it is flexible, extensible and can easily integrate extra sensor systems. Merging data from different sources – for example, from conventional environmental surveillance – at one central location significantly facilitates their interpretation.
The new NMC 3.0.0 version will soon be released. Starting with this version, we are placing the emphasis on an ergonomic web interface: while gradually replacing the former UDI, we have migrated countless other functions to the web interface, thereby ensuring that you can perform all your daily tasks from here with minimal effort. If you are not already working with the web interface, now is the perfect time to start. As an add-on during our User Conference on 16 and 17 October 2019, we are offering a training course on the new NMC Web.
Here are a few of the numerous additional new features:
- Simple user administration: The new LDAP integration enables user authentication via Microsoft Active Directory, for example. For you as a user, this means you can also enter your central network login for NMC and no longer need a redundant local user administration. Master data such as email, telephone number etc. are transferred automatically for the detection alerts.
- Enhanced map view: Stations can be color-coded on the map, both on the basis of their readings and their status. This helps you keep track of any situation in your measuring network in the map view.
- Extended spectra display with additional information directly on the chart, e.g. characteristic boundaries.
The new NMC Version 3.0.0 will be distributed in the near future to all customers with a service contract; your ENVINET customer service representative will contact you to discuss the installation.
