For the first time, SARA enables permanent spectroscopic online monitoring of gamma radiation, including automatic nuclide analysis, without any time restrictions and under any climatic operating conditions. In addition to monitoring in the air, a series is also available for continuous operation in water.
By means of online spectrometry, SARA is able to detect very low concentrations of artificial nuclides, thus allowing nuclear events to be identified quickly and effectively. This constitutes a significant improvement in the early warning function of radiation monitoring systems. The various technical specifications and configuration options support a diverse range of applications.

SARA Detector
The SARA detector enables permanent spectroscopic online monitoring of gamma radiation, including automatic nuclide analysis, without any time restrictions and under any climatic operating conditions. SARA is able to detect very low concentrations of artificial nuclides, thereby allowing nuclear events to be identified more quickly and effectively. As detectors NaI(Tl), LaBr3(Ce) or CeBr3 in different dimensions are avaiable.
SARA Stations
SARA is a flexible gamma spectroscopic system which can be used for versatile applications. The SARA – Spectroscopic Gamma Detector in combination with different base units forms the powerful SARA – Spectroscopic Monitoring Stations. Different base units are available each optimized to provide the best solution for the customer needs.
SARA Water
With a special housing the SARA detector can be used for water monitoring applications up to 500 m water depth. The housing is suitable for fresh- and sea water applications.
SARA Accessories
The SARA system has many different accessories as SARA Test Set for quality assurane or transport boxes. Using the accessories a save and continous operation is ensured.
